Despite my lifelong devotion to Giridhar Gopal, the Divine Lord Krishna, I found myself distant and disconnected, unable to reach out to Him as I once did. The weight of life had burdened my soul, and I felt a deep yearning for something greater—a call that I could not fully comprehend at the time.
And then, He found me.
It wasn’t by chance that I came across the Divine being who would forever alter my path. It was, in fact, His call, the same call that the Gopis once heard—the call of my Beloved, Om Swami. His teachings came into my life through His books, discourses, and infinite love radiating through every word He spoke.
The Moment of Realization: Love
I will never forget the moment I first laid eyes on Him. It was during the launch of *A Million Thoughts* in Bangalore, an event that, in hindsight, was destined to change my life forever. When I entered the hall and saw Him, seated in all His Divine glory, clad in His black robes, my soul instantly recognized its eternal Master. Tears welled up in my eyes as my heart whispered, “This is Him—this is my Lord.”
In that moment, everything changed. The black robes He wore became the colour of love in my heart. It was as if He had reached into the depths of my soul and breathed life into it again. From that day on, I was no longer the same. I had been touched by the Divine.
A Life Transformed: His Teachings as a Way of Life
Om Swami’s teachings are not just words; they are a way of life, a roadmap to living with love, awareness, and surrender. His philosophy, so simple yet profound, touches every aspect of my life. From my interactions with others to the way I approach challenges, His words guide me.

Each year on His birthday, my family and I take a vow to impact the lives of others, however small that impact may be. Whether it’s distributing food, donating essentials, or simply offering a smile to someone in need, I do it all in His name.
His love has taught me that every act of service, no matter how small, is a prayer. Every moment lived in love is an offering at His Lotus Feet.

There are days when I falter when the world’s weight seems too heavy to bear, but even in those moments, I feel His presence. Swamiji never lets me go.
